Our Roots

Our story first began on the corner of West Hastings and Richards Street in Vancouver, Canada, on November 8, 2005. Amongst a lively neighborhood and the bustling downtown business district, we saw great potential for a coffee house, what would one day become the foundation of the Waves Franchise.

After 8 months of positive reception from the community, Waves Coffee House expanded across the Greater Vancouver Area, Alberta, and continues to grow.

In 2008, Waves Coffee House was recognized by the Brand Coaches as the "Hottest Brand in Canada". We have also been recognized as the "Best of Brands" by over 1,500 coffee retailers. With your continued support, we strive to uphold this reputation for the years to come!

The planet is our precious home, and we are committed to taking our part to preserve it. To minimize the carbon footprint that we leave behind, Waves is working towards developing eco-friendly inniciatives to compliment our business philosophy.

• We strive to apply the best practices in choosing our products & suppliers. We will also support the local producers and suppliers whenever possible.
• Waves Coffee House locations are designed to maximize sun exposure-- helping to minimize use of electricity.
• We provide Fair Trade coffee & tea from different parts of the world
• We encourage healthy living and eating; therefore, we offer our customers organic food & beverage options.
